Ethan had never flown in an airplane before.
He was lucky enough to sit by a window.
He loved his flight.
He flew over Lake Isabella (his first area) and he didn't even realize it.

The ocean! First time seeing an ocean!

All the missionaries landed safe & sound. Someone met them & drove them to the mission office in Ventura. A few days later he went to his first area--Lake Isabella. He lives in a small town called Mountain Mesa. The area is a lot of smaller communities around Lake Isabella.
